10 Never-Failing Ways to Grow Long Hair Fast

You often ask me how I managed to grow long hair so fast. I get it, nobody wants to wait long years to get long tresses. It’s a really tricky task so I’m happy to share the best ways to grow long hair quickly. I round up 10 best methods I’ve tested to help you get the desired length.

The most effective ways to grow long hair fast

1. Care for the ends of your hair

Crazy-dry, brittle ends give you an impression that hair doesn’t grow. Nobody likes split ends. Remember to trim them regularly to get rid of damage and keep the hair neat-looking. Besides that, follow the right hair care routine – use hair oils or serums that help keep the tips smooth and healthy.

2. Care for the scalp

While shampooing, always massage the scalp to reinforce the follicles and stimulate the microcirculation. It’s a must if you grow long hair. From time to time, use castor oil for the massage to deliver the essential nutrients.

3. Avoid hair damage

Give up on heat styling because it opens the cuticles and thus makes hair more prone to damage. Flat irons and curling wands dry out the hair, ends in particular. I’ve heard there are some hot tools that secure the hair so you may try one. As far as blow-drying goes, always use the cool airflow to damage-proof the hair and keep it smooth.

4. Shampoo the right way

Unlike what you probably think, this simple activity may prove complicated! Few people give it any thought while shampooing is very important. Use circular motions and massage the scalp gently. Dilute your shampoo with water before smoothing it over the scalp. A big amount of the shampoo doesn’t improve the condition of hair, plus you can save some product if you dilute it first.

5. Eat a varied diet

If you don’t keep your body healthy, you won’t achieve any success in the hair-care field. You must eat a healthy diet to stimulate the cell renewal process. Drink linseed, nettle or horsetail teas. Your diet must include foods rich in biotin and vitamins B.

6. Don’t break down the hair structure

All procedures that change the hair structure cause damage and breakage. This obviously disturbs the growing process so give them up.

7. Don’t let your hair down for sleep

If you do, the hair brushes against the pillows and breaks. Braid or put the hair in a messy bun.

8. Stimulate the hair growth

Castor oil, linseed oil, apple cider vinegar, egg white, olive oil… all these substances stimulate faster hair growth so reach for them regularly.

9. Brush the hair the right way

The correct way of brushing matters too. Ideally, use a wooden wide-toothed comb. Wet hair is extremely fragile so it’s best to wait until it’s dry.

10. Tie your hair up

This point turned out to be the most useful. The transitional process is really hard to put up with. Before getting the desired length, I kept my hair looking great by creating some fancy hairstyles so I didn’t feel tempted to get the hair cut!
