What makes aloe vera a face-care stunner?

We all know aloe vera and its uses in medicine as well as in cosmetology. This plant makes up a rich source of vitamins, amino acids and minerals, and has great health benefits. How can we use it to enhance the beauty?

Healing effect of aloe vera

It improves the condition of the skin but it’s best known for the laxative effect, detoxifying the body and preventing some cancers from developing. It has an antibacterial and antiinflammatory effect, delivers oxygen to cells and increases levels of collagen and elastin. Aloe powerfully treats burns and frostbite. It works wonders when treating skin damage and infection. It aids the digestive system and metabolism, plus it eliminates obstruction. Additionally, aloe stimulates the immune system – the substances found in the plant reinforce the body’s defense system. Aloe vera juice is the most popular, replenishing the essential vitamins.

Shampoos and hair conditioners rich in aloe

Aloe vera is infused into shampoos and other hair-care products because the plant strengthens the hair structure. It makes strands strong, shiny and easier to detangle. The best thing is your hair stops going frizzy! The plant abounds in vitamins and amino acids. Aloe is a humectant – one of the essential ingredients that keep the hair hydrated.

Aloe-based face-care products

Aloe is high in beneficial substances and that’s why it has so many cosmetic uses. We can often find it in face-care products like scrubs, moisturizers, lotions, masks, toners. The substances in aloe are able to penetrate the skin – they have a nourishing and conditioning effect, soothe inflamed skin and improve the blood flow.

Personally I love aloe gels since it’s the easiest to use them. You can find them at every cosmetic store. I use my gel on scars and dark spots but you can use it on the entire face skin. Aloe detoxifies, makes the pores less noticeable, improves the skin tone and plumps up the face making it younger-looking. It’s best for acne skin sufferers since it controls the oil secretion.

Use your aloe gel to make a natural face scrub: mix it with some sugar, ideally brown, and lemon juice. This is a truly natural, effective and mostly healthy face exfoliant!

Aloe vera face mask

This is the best face-care product. Whenever I see my skin looks sallow and tired, I make an aloe-based mask. To make it, use freshly squeezed aloe juice. If you haven’t got the plant at home, use aloe gel and mix it with milk or fresh cucumber juice. Apply the blend on the face skin and wash it off after several minutes. The mask perfectly repairs the skin, hydrates, soothes irritations , freshens up and kills bacteria. Mix aloe with honey (best for dry skin) or egg white (great for oily skin).
