I Evaluate Whether DIY Cluster Lashes From Top brands Are A Hit or a Flop

For many of us, beautifully defined eyelashes are the foundation of a successful makeup look. Unfortunately, my natural lashes are short and sparse, which often fails to meet my expectations. Fortunately, I discovered DIY cluster lashes, which have transformed my makeup. I tested several products from top brands before finding the perfect set. Which one turned out to be a hit, and which one disappointed me?

Quick makeup with DIY cluster lashes

Before I reveal which lash extension kit suited me best, I want to explain why I chose this lash extension method. I tested various products, but applying cluster lashes regularly gave me difficulties. Grabbing them with tweezers and positioning them evenly was a challenge, making the entire makeup take more than an hour. Due to my dissatisfaction with my natural lashes, I started looking for alternatives. I discovered lash extension starter kits such as the Nanolash DIY Eyelash Extensions Starter Kit, Falscara Starter Kit, and other DIY lash kits. These cluster lashes are applied underneath real lashes, which turned out to be the perfect solution for me!

This lash extension method is extremely convenient for me. The eyelash clusters are applied underneath, which makes the application much easier and makes makeup faster and more effective. Thanks to this method, I can enjoy beautiful, highlighted eyelashes without unnecessary stress and spending lots of time in front of the mirror.

Lash extension kit for home. Which products did I test? Ranking

Before I chose the best eyelash extension kit, I tested as many as five different products. All of them are from renowned brands, so my expectations were high, especially for the more expensive kits.

Before deciding to test, I read many positive reviews from other users. However, I wanted to see for myself which set really deserved the praise.

1. Nanolash DIY Eyelash Extensions Starter Kit

The first kit tested was the Nanolash DIY Eyelash Extensions Starter Kit, which had a lot of positive reviews. My previous experience with the brand’s products was very positive, so I had high expectations.

In the kit, I found:

  • 36 cluster lashes in three lengths: 10, 12, and 14 mm,
  • A bonder and a sealer, which are essential for successful application,
  • An applicator, which makes it easy to place the clusters and fix the styling,
  • A remover, which facilitates removing the lashes.

The manufacturer’s website states that it takes only 10 minutes to apply these cluster lashes. At first I was skeptical, but it turned out to be true – even the first time, the application went quickly and smoothly. This was a clear indication to me that this set could be a real hit.

Another advantage of the Nanolash cluster lashes is their softness. Thanks to the included applicator, I did not need additional tweezers. The applicator, thanks to its shape, made it possible to apply the lashes with precision even in hard-to-reach places.

The Nanolash DIY Eyelash Extensions Starter Kit is available with lashes in eight different styles that provide both subtle and more defined effects, so there is something suitable for every woman.

2. Glamnetic Lash Extension Kit

My expectations for this kit were high. Like Nanolash, Glamnetic included a remover and sealer in the kit, which ensured comfortable use. As promised, the lashes should last up to 5 days. I cared for them from day one, and indeed – I put them on on Tuesday, and didn’t have to take them off until Saturday.

Glamnetic offers a set with different sizes and styles of lash clusters. In addition to the lashes, a remover, and a sealer, the kit includes Bonder and an applicator. Thanks to the previous test, I already had some practice which allowed me to apply the cluster lashes in about 10 minutes.

Initially the kit seemed promising, but after opening the package I was a bit disappointed. I prefer subtle makeup, and the cluster lashes in this set didn’t look very natural. I was hoping that on my lashes it wouldn’t be so noticeable, but unfortunately, the effect was visible. It made me feel a bit uncomfortable.

3. KISS Falscara Starter Kit

Next on my list was a do-it-yourself lash extension kit from KISS. I noticed that the Falscara Starter Kit contains only 10 cluster lashes which is enough for just one application. However, I decided to give it a chance.

Applying the lashes went smoothly, and the effect was nice. Unfortunately, the kit does not contain a remover, so I had to use a product I had at home to remove the lashes. Those who don’t have one should buy it additonally, as well as the overnight lash-protecting product. The Falscara Starter Kit is easy to apply, making it easy to use for anyone even without much experience. However, the lack of a remover is a major downside as it dereases the comfort. The lashes lasted well, but it’s worth investing in additional products to remove them safely and protect them.

The manufacturer claims that the lash clusters are reusable, but I treated them as disposable, as I had more kits to test.

4. Tatti Lashes Invisi-Lash Kit

Tatti Lashes is a popular brand, especially on social media. I decided to test their Invisi-Lash Kit for DIY lash extensions. There are 7 lash styles available, varying in volume and length. I chose the Haute Couture style.

Tatti Lashes clusters are available on a black or transparent strip. For women with dark eyes, the black option is a better choice, which was why I chose it too. The kit also includes: Invisi-Lash Bond, Seal Glue, an applicator, and a small brush.

The reviews from other users were positive, so I expected an easy application. Although it wasn’t as quick as with the Nanolash kit, I put on the cluster lashes without much difficulty. The lashes looked nice and lasted well. I found the application of the Tatti Lashes cluster lashes to be quite intuitive. The Invisi-Lash Bond and Seal Glue ensured that the clusters were firmly attached to my natural lashes. The applicator, while not as convenient as the one in the Nanolash kit, did its job, and the small brush helped to separate the lashes precisely.

5. Lashify Starter Kit

This is the last product I tested, and its price is much higher than the others. Unfortunately, it doesn’t provide more lashes – the kit contains only 10 cluster lashes, which is enough for a single application.

However, the quality of the lashes is top-notch. These cluster lashes are extremely soft and, when applied properly, look very natural, almost indistinguishable from your own lashes.

The application was quick and easy, and the lashes lasted on my eyes for about 5 days. Despite this, I found the price of the kit to be too high, and I’m unlikely to buy it again. However, for those looking for top quality and willing to pay extra, the Lashify Starter Kit may be the best option to consider.

Lash extension kits ranking summary

After testing all the kits and analyzing their advantages and disadvantages carefully, I can confidently say that I was most impressed with the Nanolash set. DIY Eyelash Extensions Starter Kit met my expectations in all aspects and is my absolute favorite. I can recommend it with complete confidence. The DIY Eyelash Extensions Starter Kit from Nanolash stands out not only for the high quality of the cluster lashes, but also for the comprehensive set of accessories. The kit includes different lengths of cluster lashes, a bonder, a sealer, an applicator, and a remover, making it versatile and easy to use. Applying the lashes is quick and efficient, and the final result is natural and long-lasting. The lashes stay in place for days, ensuring a long-lasting effect without the need for any touch-ups.

Although I was satisfied with most of the kits I tested, the achieved lash looks were not always what I expected. The remover, which I consider essential for a complete lash application and removal, was often missing from the kit.

I’m curious if you also plan to test any lash extension starter kits. Or maybe you have already found your favorite? If so, is it also the kit from Nanolash? Let me know in the comments and share your experiences and tell me which product you liked best.
