I have dry skin which tends to break out and vitamin C face serums prove fantastic! If your skin is different… feel free to use vitamin C products too! Vitamin C infused into serum isn’t meant only for one specific skin type or problem. It will work wonders for everyone. Even if your skin is sensitive or greasy, you can use it worry-free. Because of the antiaging effect, it is recommended to start using vitamin C serums quite early – at age of 25. Of course it’s never too late for an adventure with such a multitasking cosmetic. Nanoil Vitamin C Face Serum
Nanoil serum has some remarkable ingredients and you’ll know that once you use it for the first time. The formula is free of needless preservatives or synthetic pigments. I also rate it for the vegan-friendly composition. The form of vitamin C used in this serum is the most important because it is Ethyl Ascorbic Acid, easily absorbed and suitable for the most delicate, sensitive complexions. The Punarnava Root Extract is an interesting addition because it is a natural antioxidant. The combo guarantees maximum delay of the aging process and wrinkles. After a few days from the first use my skin was radiant and moisturized. Gradually the serum made my acne scars less noticeable and fixed the uneven skin tone. On top of that, I haven’t spotted new zits since I started using Nanoil. It sinks in very quickly so it’s an amazing make-up primer. The 50-ml bottle is enough for many months, and I like to use it twice a day! I was taken aback that such a big-sized and remarkably-working product costs so little. Love it!

Olehenriksen Truth Serum
I’ve known and loved products by Olehenriksen for a long time. This serum is my latest discovery from the brand. I loved it from the first time I used it. A strong brightening effect is the most spectacular in this product and I love it! I like to use it in the morning because it makes my face look lovely – even totally makeup-free! As long as vitamin C goes, it comes from different sources, including grapefruit, wild rose, and orange extract which also makes the product smell fresh. Next to the brightening effect, the Olehenriksen Truth Serum holds water inside the skin, evens the skin tone, and I’ve heard it works well on rosacea-prone skin making spider veins less noticeable. To be honest, it’s my second best serum after Nanoil. The high price is the only thing I don’t like and I’m not surprised it’s a turn-off for many people.
La Roche-Posay Pure Vitamin C Serum
My third best serum comes from La Roche-Posay. In comparison to number one and two, it takes more time to produce effects but they’re worth waiting for. La Roche-Posay Pure Vitamin C is lightweight and pleasant to work across the face. Similarly to the previous serums, it brightens the face (less intensively though), lessens pigmentation marks, and has antioxidative properties. The added salicylic acid has a moisturizing effect and smooths fine lines, especially on the forehead. A long ingredient list is what I don’t like about La Roche-Posay Pure Vitamin C. None of the component caused allergic reactions in my skin but you need to know that the longer the INCI, the higher the risk of irritations. I’ve spotted it’s available on many websites but the prices are very different so search for the best deal.
The Ordinary Ethylated Ascorbic Acid 15% Solution
The Ordinary Solution is my fourth best which has a very strong effect so you can spot the improvement really quickly. It effectively lightens discolored skin and promotes an even skin tone. Like any product with vitamin C, it has an antiaging effect. I like to use The Ordinary Ethylated Ascorbic Acid 15% Solution during my evening skincare routine. I need to warn you though. I don’t recommend it if you’ve never used any ascorbic acid-rich products before because it works really intensively. Plus you can’t use other products rich in vitamin C or niacinamide if you’re using The Ordinary Ethylated Ascorbic Acid 15% Solution. Still, I rate it highly for a simple formula and an affordable price.
