It’s been quite some time since I wanted to see how Nanoil Liquid Silk Micellar Shampoo would work on my hair. Glowing reviews and the positive effects described by some beauty bloggers made me get this basic personal care product for myself. Obviously, the fact that this shampoo is micellar is a huge advantage because such beauty products are known for being super effective in terms of cleansing. Nanoil micellar shampoo with silk: The description, texture, fragrance and size
The shampoo is almost transparent and has a lovely pink tint. I like that it’s not creamy and thick like the majority of silk-enriched shampoos because this means that it doesn’t weigh hair down. The aroma is pleasant and subtle. Actually, another plus to mention is that the very aroma lingers on the hair pretty long but it isn’t domineering, so to say. Well, I want to say that you can smell the shampoo but only when you put the nose in the hair, so you can still wear your perfumes without bothering that both aromas wouldn’t work together. Furthermore, since the shampoo isn’t thick, it’s easy to spread it all over the scalp and hair. The size of the bottle is rather regular, 300 ml. What isn’t “regular” is the efficiency, one bottle of Nanoil Liquid Silk Micellar Shampoo lasts surprisingly long. I’ve been using mine for three months now and the bottle is still half-full.

I’ll not give you the in-depth analysis of the formula because I know that it would make your mind drift away. Naturally, this shampoo has some cleansing agents and fragrances. But most of all, it’s enriched with some ingredients responsible for improving the appearance of the hair. What are they? Here they are:
- MICELLES – their task is to attract dirt, dust, sebum and toxins to cleanse the hair and balance the scalp.
- LIQUID SILK – the fact that it’s liquid is a huge advantage because in this form hair has no problems with absorbing silk and transporting it within. This in turn ensures deep nourishment and better-looking hair. Correct me if I’m wrong but liquid silk has no equal in terms of leaving hair smooth and glossy.
- WHEAT PROTEINS – as far as I’m concerned, this is one of the best natural substances that you can apply to the hair to condition it. I’d also like to recommend you to use eyebrow products formulated with wheat proteins. Actually mascaras are also better for lashes when enriched with this substance. Wheat proteins are proven to condition, strengthen and repair all types of hair.
- CASTOR OIL – indeed, this is this almost iconic vegetable oil that doesn’t have to be introduced to anybody. Castor oil protects and moisturizes the strands. Additionally, it’s antiseptic and maintains hair color.

I have the impression that Nanoil Liquid Silk Micellar Shampoo was made for my hair, seriously. It leaves my strands feeling lightweight and perfectly clean. I know that this effect is owed to the micelles, of course. I also need to add that I no longer experience problems with brushing the strands. One use of Nanoil Liquid Silk Micellar Shampoo was all my hair needed to win back the shine and moisture.
I don’t know if this also happens to you but the majority of shampoos make my hair flat or leave it dull, stripping it of the much-needed lipids. Luckily, I can’t say this about Nanoil Liquid Silk Micellar Shampoo because it’s gentle for the strands and doesn’t cause tangles. I know that I’ve mentioned this already, but thanks to this shampoo the hair is so shiny and smooth that I can’t help myself from playing with the wisps – it’s impressive. If it wasn’t for Nanoil shampoo, I truly doubt I’d have such silky hair!

Honestly, I’m not surprised that this micellar shampoo is receiving so many positive comments and reviews. It’s just brilliant! To me, this is one of the best shampoos that doesn’t weigh fine hair down. What I love about Nanoil Liquid Silk Micellar Shampoo is that it leaves my hair perfectly clean without stripping natural moisture or shine from the strands. A lightweight and efficient shampoo having wonderful aroma that cleanses the hair and soothes the scalp. I think it can become this year’s best hair care revelation.
