A good mascara has always been a priority in my makeup routine. Unfortunately, many times the mascaras advertised by celebrities were not as perfect as I thought. For this reason, I decided to take matters into my own hands. I tested 4 mascaras that, in my opinion, deserve your attention. Do you want to know what I think about them?

You probably know the feeling you get when buying a new mascara very well. The euphoria and the hope that your eyelashes will finally look like you’ve been dreaming of. However, after the first brush stroke, it turns out that the product is actually useless …
I have noticed that manufacturers like to use celebrities and influencers to advertise their products just to hide their flaws and imperfections. Unfortunately, crowd psychology really works here. Many times I have been fooled and bought mascara advertised by Kim Kardashian or another celebrity. However, it gave me absolutely no results.
That’s why today, I come to you with 4 products I tested on myself and verified their effects!

As I mentioned, I tested as many as 4 mascaras and sorted them in order from – in my opinion – the best one to the one that performed moderately well for me. I hope this ranking will help you make the right decision!
1. Nanolash mascara
The first place goes to the unprecedented leader and an excellent product – Nanolash mascara. This is a product that has worked for me 100% and fully met my expectations.
I think I should start by saying that the Nanolash mascara is available in two versions:
- Nanolash Volume Up Mascara – a thickening mascara;
- Nanolash Length & Curl Mascara – a lengthening and curling mascara.
I opted for the lengthening and curling mascara although you can choose the product that meets your needs best. As for me, this is the first and also the biggest advantage of this product.
My attention was also drawn to the brush. It is perfectly shaped, and during the application, I was able to reach even the shortest lashes and evenly coat them with the product. The Nanolash mascara dries quickly, so I could easily apply another coat to boost the effect a bit more.
The eyelashes were visibly longer and had a nice curl. What’s more, the results lasted all day. The mascara did not wear off, crumble, or smudge. I tested it on a rainy day and also have no major complaints.
2. Lashcode Mascara
The next place in my opinion should go to Lashcode Mascara. It is a product with durability and consistency similar to the Nanolash mascara. The product comes with a very similar brush, which is perfectly shaped and makes the application easier.
The mascara lasted all day on my lashes with no “panda effect”. I didn’t test the product on a rainy day, so I can’t say how the mascara handles moisture well. However, based on other user’s reviews, it did not smudge.
3. Guerlain Cils D’Enfer So Volume
Guerlain Cils D’Enfer So Volume is a mascara that also worked quite well for me. If I’m honest, I didn’t have any complaints about its durability. It didn’t wear off after a full day and it didn’t smudge unsightly on my eyelids.
For me, however, the biggest problem turned out to be the brush. It is long but has short and fluffy bristles that are set very densely, even right at the tip. This did not make it easy for me to apply the product in the corners of my eyes. I found it very difficult to operate this brush and just not get my eyelid stained with the mascara.
4. Dior Diorshow Mascara
The product that worked the least for me was the Dior Diorshow Mascara. It is true that it actually made my eyelashes longer and thicker, although I only achieved this effect after applying two coats of the product. Since the mascara dried quite slowly, it took me a bit longer.
I can’t have any major complaints about the brush which is quite well-shaped. However, I have to admit that just a few hours after application, the mascara started to crumble and smudge under my eyes.
How can you use my ranking?
Ladies, when it comes to the findings of my ranking, I leave it up to you completely. You can test the mascaras I mentioned yourself and only then decide which product is right for you.
I wholeheartedly recommend the Nanolash mascara though. For me, it is number one and it will stay in my makeup bag for a long time. It has proven itself to me both in terms of quality and durability.
I recommend you always pay attention to the product formulas as well as the brush. This is what will make the application of the product easier. In turn, a good formula determines if the mascara will nourish your lashes without overburdening them. Keep these factors in mind and you will be able to find a mascara that is sure to fulfill your expectations.
