Hi darlings, today I will talk a bit about bad skincare. It needs to be discussed because due to negligence and certain mistakes that we had no idea about, we often damage the skin.
1. Stress
Stress, upset, life in a hurry, lack of sleep, constant or frequent tension – contrary to the appearances it is our skin’s greatest enemy. Girls, did you know that every bad moment in your life is visible on the skin? Lack of sleep can be observed as well. If you do not sleep properly, then you not only treat yourself to dark circles under the eyes but also devoid your skin of the regeneration it needs, the one you expect in order to wake up with smooth, supple, and radiant skin. That is why, in spite of the fact that sometimes you cannot separate yourself from the stress, try to lead a more calm life, without daily worries. Get enough sleep by having at least 7 hours of sleep a day.
2. Bad diet
Diet – but no radical diet – impacts our skin’s beauty. However, only when the diet is balanced and full of vitamins and minerals.
Remember that everything affects the skin, not just greasy foods and lots of sugar, but also the lack of certain ingredients, that is why a radical diet often worsens the hair and skin condition. If you wish for the skin to look beautiful – just eat healthily and do not munch out, always walk away slightly short.
Vitamins supplementation – is an entirely different thing that many of us think about: do supplements work? should you use them? I think that if your organism is truly exhausted with a lack of vitamins or if you lead an active lifestyle – you can go for supplements, but those will never be better than the vitamins from vegetables, fruits, or nuts.
3. Medication
Medication, especially antibiotics are bad for the skin, so you should keep that in mind and during the treatment take additional vitamins. Medication can also make skin matte and more sensitive, e.g. to sun rays. That is why no matter what, you should have some UV protection. In moments as such, you will need extra care, i.e. face mask or face serum as well as brightening cream on top of it.
4. Stimulants (coffee, cigarettes)
I hope neither of you smokes cigarettes because it is an awful habit that causes devastation to the skin, hair, and the entire organism. Coffee is my weak point because I drink a lot of it, fully aware of the fact that it washes out all the precious nutrients and does no favours to my skin. Coffee in cosmetology – only as a body scrub. You probably already know that nothing eliminates cellulite as well as coffee dregs do. 🙂
5. Wrong cosmetics
It is one of the most common mistakes causing skin worsening. Darlings, I know that all those commercials are wonderful and your friend was boasting about this face cream, but remember that the TV commercial is there to make it all look great and that your friend has a different skin type than you. Cosmetics should be chosen individually, strictly for your skin needs.
For this reason, always check what your skin needs, how it looks, check the list of ingredients for each cosmetic, avoid parabens and synthetics in products and it all be fine. You do not have to spend a fortune on your cosmetics – the most important is that those have a decent composition.
